    Join us for the opening of Beaver Tales Art Exhibit and Sale at the North County Recreation District, a gallery located in the Nehalem community center.

    The opening will include a Beaver Ecology presentation by Neal Maine at 6:30 pm with a reception and art viewing starting at 7:30 pm.  The art show will be on view throughout the month. See Lower Nehalem Watershed Council for more related events.

    A percentage of the sale will help support the conservation activities of The Wetlands Conservancy and Lower Nehalem Watershed Council.

    Join us for an open house at our Doris Davis Beaver Marsh preserve in Manzanita.  This beautiful preserve is right in the heart of Manzanita.  Visit Beaver Tales Art Exhibit and Sale in Nehalem and then come and visit with our land steward and tour this great North coast wetland.

    Directions to the preserve: Take the Nehalem Rd from Hwy 101 (just north of Manzanita)and follow it to the junction of Nehalem Rd, Pacific Blvd, and Ocean Rd. Just before the junction there is small turnout that has a plaque about the Doris Davis preserve. Meet you there!

    Come learn about how your lawn and garden effect the streams and wetlands around us, and what we can do to improve the water quality of our watersheds.

    The Wetlands Conservancy and Tualatin Riverkeepers will host Maria Cahill of Green Girl Land Development Solutions LLC in discussing beneficial changes to stormwater.  Maria uses her degree in civil engineering and 20 years’ experience implementing green development to teach others how to make our urban areas support clean rivers.
