A Tour of Wetlands and a Taste of Oregon In Support of Conserving Oregon’s Greatest Wetlands
Please join us for The Wetlands Conservancy’s annual fundraiser celebrating the conservation of Oregon’s greatest wetlands. Enjoy a day of exploring Portland Metro area wetlands followed by a feast of small plates prepared by local award-winning chefs. Your $100 ticket price covers the tours and evening celebration – come for some or all of the day’s events.
Explore Portland Metro area wetlands with TWC partners who have conserved restored or enhanced wetlands.
Sample Oregon wines, beers and spirits, creatively paired with a bounty of local foods at this year’s exciting new location Coopers Hall – a sustainable winery, taproom and premier event venue. Repurposing a quonset hut structure built in 1952 as a an auto repair shop, Coopers hall is an imaginative addition to Portland’s industrial inner eastside.
Raft & Relax in Southern Oregon
Pick a spring weekend and make your way to Ashland for a whole day of rafting for two on the Upper Klamath with Indigo Creek Outfitters. The upper Klamath offers paddlers a beautiful “Wild & Scenic” stretch of river that cuts through an incredible canyon. After a day of paddling excitement, thrill and beauty make your way to the Lithia Springs Resort for relaxing evening in Ashland. Lithia Springs, as the name states, is built over healing mineral water and each accomodation has a soaking tub to rejuvenate your tired paddling muscles. Wander the gardens, swim in the saline pool and enjoy a delicious breakfast.

For 12 months you will be receive a dozen Oregon central coast oysters from Oregon Oyster. These fresh Pacific oysters will be accompanied with 12 bottles of wine from various local wine makers, including Pierce Wine Riesling. You can sip and savor with friends, family or save them all for yourself. If you are worried about shucking these tasty treats, there will be a few Toadfish oyster knives to make this year long package unbeatable!
Summer Lake Bird Retreat
Find out what the Oregon outback really is by making the journey to Summer Lake hot springs. Spend two nights at the Ranch House, soak in your own private hot springs after spending the day exploring pretroglyphs, caves, hiking and bird watching in this remote gem of SE Oregon. Take a tour with Marty St. Louis, Summer Lake Wildlife Area Manager for the past 30 years and bring your new Leupold & Stevens binoculars. Depending on the season of your visit, learn the ecology and see the migrating wildlife of this diverse 19,000-acre preserve.
Retreat and rejuvenate at the sweetest spot on the Oregon coast: Manzanita. Spend the weekend in a 4-bedroom cozy cabin one block from the beach. Hot tub, wood stove, bikes and just a ten minute walk to town. Get to know this special spot with a tour of Alder Creek Farm preserve with Doug Firstbrook of Lower Nehalem Community Trust. Alder Creek Farm is a recognized “hotspot” by National Audubon Society and great example of wetland restoration and community partnership.
