Surveys are held February – April
Participants are asked to participate in at least one survey
Surveys last 1.5-3 hours and happen on weekdays and weekends
Most surveys are on very uneven ground, require walking through water and involve some bushwhacking
Waders are required on most surveys and will be provided
Note: We do have waders for most shoe-sizes. Waders do not come in as many sizes as other legwear, so when signing up for specific survey dates, let us know something about your approximate body-size (S, M, L, XL, etc) and we will work to accomodate you.
To ensure volunteer and staff safety:
Survey groups will be limited to 6 participants.
All participants are required to wear masks. Surveys will be outdoors and we will practice careful social distancing.
Equipment will be sanitized between uses.
Surveyors must provide their own transportation to and from survey sites.
