The opening reception will be November 12th 6:00 – 7:30pm Join us for the opening reception of the “Ode to Tides” art exhibition and sale! The project, sponsored by The Wetlands Conservancy, is a traveling exhibition that highlights the beauty and ecological significance of Oregon’s coastal estuaries and intertidal areas. What makes this exhibition unique is the collaboration between scientists and artists, and the degree to which the artists researched the topic as part of the creative process. A portion of the sale of each piece of art will support The Wetlands Conservancy’s program to conserve Oregon’s Coastal estuaries. The reception will feature a talk about local and coastal birds by photographer and conservationist Roy Lowe. Light refreshments will be provided. Free and open to the public; no registration required.
