Did you know that there is a 2,000 acre wetland in North Portland? Smith and Bybee wetland offers some of the best wildlife viewing in the Portland area and we want to take you there. This large network of sloughs and lakes is home to beaver, river otters, black tailed deer and osprey. Spend the day with us as we ride, discuss, and discover the beauties of urban wetlands and the Columbia and Willametter River confluence.
Todd Roll, founder of Pedal Bike Tours, will be our guide for this trip. Our route will be based on one of the rides in his book “Pedal Portland, 25 Great Rides for Exploring the City by Bike”. Through Pedal Bike Tours, Roll has helped get thousands of tourists and locals onto bikes to pedal the most bike-friendly large city in America.
