Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering Events 2021

The Wetlands Conservancy relies on volunteers working together to maintain, restore, and survey nearly all our urban properties throughout the seasons.

April through June of each year we collect trash, maintain trails, and install equipment within our urban sites. This summer we worked with over 50 volunteers to do work at 6 locations in the metro area.

Community Science seasons are late summer and late winter.

Beaver Survey Season
Beavers are great indicators and sustainers of wetland health. The Wetlands Conservancy collects annual data on urban beaver populations throughout Washington County. Trained community scientists log signs of beaver activity along creeks and streams between wetland preserves. Join our survey team!
