Winter Bird Walk

Tryon Creek

Join Park Ranger Rhett on Wednesday morning for a meandering walk through the park to observe and identify the birds that call Tryon Creek State Natural Area their home. All ages and experience levels are welcome, loaner binoculars are available upon request. We do ask that you leave your furry friends at home for this walk.

Expect to be on the trails for 1.5 to 2 hours with various routes and levels of strenuousness, this time can vary based on bird activity. Participants are free to leave the walk early if needed. No registration is required.
