Earth Day at 7th St Bridge

Johnson Creek Watershed Council

Join JCWC and partner, City of Gresham, to enhance the ecosystem around Johnson Creek! In honor of Earth Day, we’ll work at the 7th St Bridge site, which is located near Eastman Parkway and the Springwater corridor trail. The City of Gresham and volunteers planted hundreds of native trees and shrubs here; now it’s time to mulch them! Mulch acts as an insulator, retains water, keeps plant competition at bay and protects from erosion. Come join in taking care of these plants that will take care of us as they mature!

When: Monday, April 22nd, 9:30 am- 12:30 pm

Where: 7th St. Bridge. The closest address to the site is 685 SW 4th St, Gresham, OR.

What: We will mulch native plants. Tasks may shift as needs change on the site.
