TWC Amphibian Survey Virtual Training

Learn to identify and log 4 target species of amphibian egg masses throughout the breeding grounds of Washington and Clackamas Counties. Become a community scientist to help The Wetlands Conservancy gather data on our local urban amphibian populations!

Participation in surveys requires wearing bulky, inflexible equipment, navigating difficult terrain, standing in cold rain, and climbing over obstacles. It’s not for everyone, but attending the training doesn’t mean you have to commit. Curious folks are welcome to come learn about our slimy native swamp-dwellers’ life cycles, even if they don’t choose to come out and see them in real life. Please attend the training even if you have already attended the training in the past. We need experienced surveyors in the room to keep the conversation lively and focused!
