A Walk in The Woods

Treekeepers of Washington County

This 2.5 mile walk meanders through Tallac Terrace Park, Burntwood West Park, Thornbrook Park, and Mt. Williams Park. Meet leader Becky Rose at the south end of the Tallac Terrace Trail where SW 167th Place (off SW Cynthia St.) dead ends. The walk features a mix of trees, including madrones and one of Becky's favorites, a peanut butter tree. If it's clear, there's a lovely view to the west and the Coast Range. 

The trails, both paved and dirt, can be muddy and slippery if it's been raining. There are some steep-ish sections with a total elevation gain of about 400 ft. Participation is extremely limited, sign up here!
