Stake Planting at Dirksen Nature Park w/ TRK

Join Tualatin Riverkeepers as they add over 1000 native plant cuttings to a wetland area at Dirksen Nature Park! This project will enhance wildlife habitat in the wetland and improve water quality in Fanno Creek.

Rubber boots or waders are highly recommended if you have them. A large section of the planting area will likely be in standing water up to 2 feet deep.

Snacks, tools, safety gear and instruction will be provided. The park is accessible via the #45 or #76 Trimet bus lines. Work will be from 1pm-4pm on April 19th.
