Call for Artists: Storm Drain Sidewalk Mural Project

Tualatin Riverkeepers and the City of Tualatin invite local artists to help transform a storm drain into a vibrant, educational mural. This project aims to raise awareness about how stormwater flows directly into the Tualatin River and its tributaries—critical waterways that support drinking water, wildlife habitat, and recreation.

They’re seeking designs that incorporate an environmental theme and celebrate the cultural diversity of Washington County. The mural will serve as a multilingual reminder that what enters our storm drains goes straight into the river. Apply by May 9th at 5pm.
