Nature Journaling at Dawson Creek

Join TWC, BARK, and local Nature Journaling Guide, Kirsten Croswell, for a guided tour of Dawson Creek in Hillsboro. This urban wetland is home to beavers, birds, amphibians, fish and many native plants. We’ll cover some principles of mindful observation and of basic sketching, stopping at species or scenes of interest to discuss and draw. Everyone is welcome to break off and explore independently, or to stick with the group and learn together. Bring your own writing utensils and paper, but we will have some extras to share. This event is family friendly but does require knee-boots for safety. Sign up here!
