Maintenance Day at Apache Bluff
This small hardwood hammock on the edge of the Tualatin River has seen a lot of hawthorn removal in the past year and now it's time to pick up the pieces. Literally. Join us for a day of rigorous lopping and scattering as we break apart tangled, thorny debris from our natural space's thorniest nonnative tree. We'll also do some bushwhacking to open up denser areas of closed canopy and trail. This workday involves plenty of hunching, lifting, tossing, and reaching, all on uneven terrain. Work lasts from 9:30-12pm. Tools, gloves, and snacks provided. RSVP here!
