Paper Making Workshop
Columbia Slough Watershed Council
Join Columbia Slough Watershed Council's Education Director, Jennifer Starkey, for an evening of working with natural materials to make paper. This free event is open to all ages, minors must be accompanied by an adult.
What to expect: Participants will work with yellow flag iris, an opportunistic plant commonly found in the Columbia Slough. The group will process and strain the plant, and then make it into paper. The paper does take some time to dry and participants will receive their final product in the mail shortly after the event.
