American Wetlands Month: Open House at Cedar Mill
Join The Wetlands Conservancy and Cedar Mill community neighbors for a celebratory morning of wetland trivia, activities, and the opportunity to explore down in the mud! TWC staff and volunteers will chat with folks under the tent about what makes wetlands such important ecosystems for water quality, disaster resilience, and wildlife habitat. We’ll have small games and sidewalk chalk for kids, species ID books and educational resources for adults from 9am-1pm. Brave and curious hikers can follow along for guided tours in the lowlands to spot footprints, songbirds, dragonflies, beaver activity, and tons of native species in bloom!
Tours leaving at 10am and 12pm
Max 10 participants per tour
Muck boots and good balance required, there is no trail!
